๐ŸŽ  Homepage carousel that everyone can navigate

What changed?

  • Better navigation controls that work seamlessly with keyboard-only users and screen readers.
  • Carousel autoplay respects user preferences for reduced animation.
  • Improved readability with dark gradients behind text on videos.
  • Video autoplay now only works in single showcases (mixing video autoplay with slideshow animation creates a confusing visitor experience).
ย

How do I use it?

  • No action needed โ€“ these improvements work automatically for all visitors.
ย

๐Ÿ“… Tell visitors when there are multiple showtimes

โ€œMultiple Timesโ€ Template Text added to indicate there is more than one performance on the date.
โ€œMultiple Timesโ€ Template Text added to indicate there is more than one performance on the date.

What changed?

  • New Template text appears when a production has multiple events on the same day.
  • Reduces visitor confusion when not all start times are shown due to space constraints.
  • Works on list layouts with date on top of the title, and on all mobile and grid cards.
ย

How do I use it?

  • Find the new text field called "FE3_dateFormat_multipleTimes" in your Template Texts module. Customise the message to match your voice. Something like "Multiple times available" or "Various start times."
ย

๐Ÿ“Š RESTful API Part 2: Your data, your BI tools

What changed?

  • New RESTful API endpoints for anonymised analytics data.
  • Access visitor information, ticket sales, and enriched statistical sector data (Belgium only).
  • Example use cases:
    • Spot which postcodes buy the most tickets and target your marketing accordingly.
    • See which age groups prefer matinees versus evening shows.
    • Compare your sales patterns against sector benchmarks.
ย

How do I use it?

  • Connect your preferred business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, etc.) to these new endpoints. Find the API documentation in your API Access Key module.
ย

๐Ÿงญ Wayfinding that scales beautifully

What changed?

  • All wayfinding content now scales intelligently based on screen aspect ratio.
  • Fonts and icons adjust proportionally for landscape or portrait displays.
  • Your digital signage looks professional and readable on any display format without manual adjustments.
  • Perfect for venues using different screen orientations throughout their building.
ย

How do I use it?

  • For best results, use a resolution of 1920 ร— 1080 (landscape) or 1080 ร— 1920 (portrait). The system will automatically optimise how your content appears on each screen.
ย

โš™๏ธ Yet another round of accessibility wins

We've made significant accessibility improvements across the platform:

ย

Main menu navigation: Following WCAG guidelines, we've improved markup for all menu items with consistent use of the aria-hidden attribute. This means better keyboard navigation through your main menu, search, account menu, language toggle, and other controls. Try tabbing through your menus to try it out for yourself.

ย

Homepage carousel accessibility: New accessible navigation options show visitors how many items they're browsing, with clearer positioning that works seamlessly with screen readers. Carousel autoplay respects "reduce animation" preferences in user system settings.

ย

Improved iframe handling: We've restored the default parameters in iframe parts, ensuring embedded content maintains proper accessibility attributes.

ย

What changed?

  • Seamless connection to Ticketsolve.
  • Brand new event updater specifically for Ticketsolve-powered venues.
  • Ticketsolve venues can now benefit from CultureSuiteโ€™s powerful website and content management capabilities.

Farewell to the old mailing list import

The original mailing list import module is retiring after 20 years of service. It has been replaced by the new CMS Mailing List Import module with significant performance improvements, faster processing speeds, and better error handling. We're simply removing the old version now that the superior replacement is well established.
